Happy to be behind a camera whether it’s in a field hospital overseas or a living room in Ohio.
I’m humbled to have spent the last seven years traveling to more than 40 countries- capturing stories of crisis and conflict, to powerful moments of healing and joy. I started out photographing indigenous artisans in Guatemala, and have continued with non-profits in a photography and design capacity ever since. Most recently I served as a staff photographer for Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian disaster relief organization.
WHY “VERY STONES”?
In Luke chapter 19 of the Bible, Jesus is entering Jerusalem, surrounded by praise of people who have seen His great works. The religious leaders, enemies of Jesus, try to silence the crowd, to which Jesus responds:
“I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”
I pray the photos I take, the stories I tell- cry out unto His glory. Jesus changed my life, and I want everyone to know the hope, the peace, the joy, the rest, the freedom, the forgiveness they can have now and for all eternity. This is the good news.
